As if the Big 10 schedule isn't tough enough, now the Huskers will have to do without one of their best players.

Forward Brandon Ubel suffered a fracture elbow in Wednesday's game at Michigan.

He'll miss Sunday's game against Michigan State and most likely the game Wednesday night back home at the Devaney Center.

Brandon has made 74 starts for the Huskers.

That along with guard Mike Peltz out with a season ending knee injury makes it a tough week for the Huskers as they see a tough Spartan team next.
