Husker signing day 2013 arrives
Husker assistant football coach Ron Brown said it best: "Recruiting is an inexact science." Whichever players sign scholarships today, we won't know whom will be good college players and whom will not.
Nonetheless, head coach Bo Pelini and has staff have been out trying to get the best players they can to come to Nebraska. With the program's 3rd season in the Big Ten ahead of them, they well know the competition from schools like Michigan and Ohio State will always be there. Not only signing the best players but developing players that might be "diamonds in the rough" is tantamount for Nebraska's coaching staff or for that matter any other college football coaching staff that concluding recruiting for now at least for Wednesday. Bo Pelini is one head coach that doesn't like to tout his recruits right away or talk about certain guys. He would rather wait and see how the guys he signs take advantage of their opportunity to play when given the chance. |
