Huskers ranked in coaches preseason poll

When Husker football squares off against Southern Mississippi on September 1st, they'll have a better ranking than when they finished the 2011 season.

Thursday, USA Today released their preseason coaches poll.
Nebraska is ranked 16th.

Coach Pelini's crew is coming off a 9-4 season.

That includes a bowl loss to South Carolina to end the season.

As for the other members of the Big Ten in the Top 25, Michigan is 8th, Wisconsin 12th and Michigan State 13th.
