Huskers will look to Kyler Reed this fall

When the Huskers take the field this season starting September 1st against Southern Miss, they'll count on tight end Kyler Reed to make some big plays.

After Rex Burkhead was named to the Maxwell watch list yesterday, Husker tight end Kyler Reed is named to the John Mackey Award watch list Tuesday.

The 6'3" senior from Shawnee, Kansas has 43 career receptions with the Husker averaging 16 yards a reception.

He had 15 receptions in 12 games last year with one touchdown. He scored 8 touchdowns his sophomore season and looks to be a serious weapon for the Big Red this season.
