Nebraska's competition in Big 10 changes

Could the Husker path to the football Big Ten championship game get easier if the league splits into Eastern and Western divisions? Who knows?

It does seem with the addition of Maryland and Rutgers to the league that will happen.

Nebraska, the most western of the team will, of course, stay in the west.

Wisconsin and either Purdue or Indiana will move west while Michigan and Michigan State will move east with the new teams.

Whether that translates into more victories is anyone guess.

Getting away from Michigan and trading them for Wisconsin seems pretty equal so no one should assume it'll be easier if Nebraska gets away from Michigan.
