Nebraska baseball aims for Big 12 spot

Despite being swept by Texas A&M, the Nebraska baseball team will make the Big 12 Tournament as the 8th place team if they sweep the Missouri Tigers 3 games Thursday through Saturday to close the regular season.
If it happens, the Huskers and Tigers would be 10-16 in the league and of course Nebraska would have the tiebreaker over Mizzou.
The Huskers would also own a tiebreaker over Kansas State for the 8th place spot.
Kansas State and Kansas have three games left against each other Friday thru Sunday and either one could slip into that eighth spot if Nebraska loses one to Missouri.
So to get to the Big 12 tournament after missing the last two seasons the Huskers have to do something they haven't done all season-sweep a Big 12 series.
