Former Kansas head coach and Nebraska assistant Turner Gill is back in coaching just three weeks after being fired at Kansas.
Gill will be the head man at FCS school Liberty, a Christian school in Lynchburg Virginia.
The former Husker Quarterback will replace Danny Rocco who left to take a job at Richmond earlier this month.
Rocco led his team to a 47-20 record during his tenure at the school.
Gill's strong Christian faith should be a great match at Liberty and is one of the biggest reasons the university's chancellor and president Jerry Falwell Junior hired Gill as head coach.
