It is always good to have three talented quarterbacks on your roster. It is a dilemma most college football coaches would like to have. But, which QB will lead the Huskers to the most victories?
Senior quarterback Zac Lee started 12 of 14 games in 09 including the Huskers 33β0 win over Arizona in the Holiday Bowl.
Lee threw for 173 yards and a touchdown in the victory. He also ran for 69 yards.
But, Zac missed all of spring practice with a shoulder injury.
Sophomore Cody Green is also in the mix.
The kid from Texas started two games during his freshman season and threw for two touchdowns in 2009.
The fan favorite to win the job seems to be Taylor Martinez. He showed off his speed and athleticism in the Spring Game. Martinez ran for 60 yards. And he threw two touchdowns helping the Red squad to a 21β16 victory.
Husker receiver Niles Paul said each QB makes a strong case to win the job.
Lee is healthy and will be ready for fall camp. And it appears the starting job is Zac's to lose.
