Big Ten to discuss naming changes

With the addition of Maryland and Rutgers to the Big 10 conference in 2014, the Legends and Leaders Division names will apparently go away.

Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delaney said that discussion will take place at the league meetings in April.

The Bleacher Report said the names are as good as gone. What will replace the names Leaders and Legends?

Perhaps they'll go to more geographical names like East and West.
They could arrange the conference to an outer and inner divisional set up putting Maryland and Rutgers in with Nebraska and Iowa.

That would be a travel nightmare for the Big Red.

The most popular theory is putting the 2 new schools with the eastern teams and moving Illinois to Nebraska's division, whatever it will be named. We'll see.
