For a sixth time in eight games it appears Husker senior I-Back Rex Burkhead will miss most or all of the contest when the Big Red plays the Big Blue of Michigan Saturday night.

The senior from Plano, Texas is still bothered by that pesky knee injury suffered in the opener against Southen Miss, reinjured at Ohio State and against last week at Northwestern.

Once thought of as a possible Heisman Candidate, coach Bo Pelini is just hopeful Rex can be ready for future games.

So far Rex has played in four games, though sparingly in two of those, carried the ball 43 times for 392 net yards and three touchdowns and averaged almost ten yards a carry while he's been in there.

Bo said he is comfortable counting on Ameer Abdullah and Braylon Heard getting most of the carries Saturday night against Michigan.
