After victories in their first two games at the Heartland Events Center, many area football fans are getting excited about the Nebraska Danger indoor football team.

The Danger rolled up 70 in their win over the Colorado Ice Saturday night. With that win and the previous victory over the defending league champion Sioux Falls Storm, coach Mike Davis certainly feels the 3rd year franchise in heading in the right direction for several reasons.

"You know, we have a great coaching staff and, more importantly, we have some veteran guys offensively and defensively that don't mind voicing their opinions to help out. Hey, coach, what if we did this; if we came up with a defensive scheme? Hey, that's great, but what's the adjustment and stuff like that. Guys have been around the game a little bit and that definitely helps; it takes a lot of pressure off myself and the coaches," said Coach Mike Davis.

The Danger takes to the road for the first time this season visiting the Tri-City Fever in Yakama Washington. It will be the home opener for the Fever who lost their opener to the Colorado Ice.

The next Danger home game is a week from Friday against the Wyoming Cavalry.
