Former Nebraska basketball player Jeter to compete in China

From one high achieving athlete to another. Former Nebraska basketball player Lance Jeter will join a team of former college standouts in China this week for an international tournament.

The All-big 12 performer will head over-seas for the netscouts basketball tournament taking on national B teams from China, Lithuania and Germany.

Jeter and his teammates will play nine games beginning today and ending July 9th.

In Jeter's first season for Leeuwarden, a professional team in Holland, the point guard averaged 16.8 points 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game earning first team league honors.

Jeter's 16.8 points ranked the former Husker second in the league in scoring.
