Husker basketball hopes for break through performance

Can the Huskers finally break into the Big Ten win column Wednesday night or will the Purdue Boilermakers come to Lincoln and spoil the fun?

Losing by 15 at Michigan and ten at Michigan State were games the Huskers were in until late.

Same goes for the home loss to Wisconsin two weeks ago so the squad is looking for a breakthrough.

It would be a breakthrough that would likely come from the outside since forward Brandon Ubel is suffering from that fractured elbow and center Andre Almeda has not been at full strength and played in neither recent road game.

Purdue, like Nebraska is largely a young team starting 3 freshman whom they'll lean on Wednesday night when they face the Big Red.

On his Facebook Page, Husker coach Tim Miles urged the fans to come out and cheer for the team.
