Husker offensive lineman Long snags new award

College Football Award season is still ongoing and Husker Offensive Lineman Spencer Long is continuing to accumulate the accolades.

The Junior from Elkhorn received Associated Press 2nd team All-American Honors Tuesday. The former walk-on was the only Husker named to any of the 3 AP All-American squads.

Last week, Long was selected to the Walter Camp Foundation 2nd Team.

The final All-American squads will be announced on Friday when the Football Writers Association of America teams are announced.
