Huskers lead Big Ten in offense

Granted, the numbers are somewhat skewed from Nebraska's 73-7 win over Idaho State last week, but the Huskers do lead the Big Ten conference in both total offense and scoring offense.

The Huskers average 48 points and 541 yards a game in their four contests.

That is a far cry from last season when Nebraska scored 25 points or less in their last six games, three of which they lost.

Nebraska has scored 26 touchdowns in four games, five more than Ohio State's 21 in second place.

They'll begin league play with Wisconsin team that has played well defensively allowing less than 20 points a game to its four opponents and a team which defeated the Huskers 48-17 in Madison last season.

Badger Heisman candidate running back Montee Ball who suffered a concussion last week, says he wants to play against Nebraska.

No doubt about it, this game between the 2 teams as last year's will set the tone of the Big Ten race.

Wisconsin won last year and went onto win their leaders division and Big Ten title for the second straight year.
