Huskers narrow focus to Idaho State game

Around the Husker locker room coaches are making sure the players are not looking past the Idaho State Bengals to the opening of Big Ten play and the Wisconsin Badgers.

Such people as strength coach James Dobson are emphasizing that this week.

The Husker defense is still 11th out of 12 in the Big Ten in both scoring and total defense.

The players will no doubt get the message that no matter what team is next no one can be taken for granted.

Just think of Louisiana Monroe's win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

PJ and his teammates will see plenty of action in the secondary Saturday. Two Idaho State quarterbacks have passed the ball a combined 91 times in two games.

First team QB Kyle Yost has thrown it 81 times as the Bengals have divided a pair of games.
