Grand Island natives Taylor Johnson, Katie Brand and their Kansas State Wildcat volleyball teammates are coming to Lincoln for the NCAA Tournament this week.

We all remember last year when the Cats came to the Nebraska Coliseum and as talk show host Jim Rome might say, Nebraska got "punked in their own crib."

The Cats of coach Suzie Fritz defeated the Huskers in five to move onto the Sweet Sixteen and ended the Husker season far sooner than usual.

Victories by both teams Thursday match the former Big 12 rivals Friday at 7:00.

The winner of this first round of games in Lincoln will move onto the Century Link Center in Omaha for the Round of 16.

These volleyball games Thursday and Friday will be the last in the Nebraska Coliseum. Next season the team will move to the nearby Devaney Center.
