New NU athletic director speaks at press conference

It's the first time Shawn Eichorst has addressed the public since the announcement he'll replace retiring Tom Osborn as Nebraska University's Athletic Director.

"I'm humbled and honored to be chosen to lead one of America's best athletic programs at such a phenomenal university. This is a special place and a very special city and a very special state," said Eichorst.

Eichorst will begin as Athletic Director on January 1st. His salary has been set at $973,000 a year.
