Report claims Husker running back may transfer

Tools

A report from the website MyValley.com in Youngstown says that Husker running back Braylan Heard is transferring to another school.

That has taken Coach Bo Pelini by surprise, and he said Braylon hasn't talked to him about it.

The junior from Cardinal Mooney high school, which is also Bo's alma mater, has 52 career carries for 348 yards and 3 touchdowns. He averaged 6.7 yards a carry.

There is no word where he would go. With Ameer Abdullah and Imani Cross returning at running back and several recruits that will sign, it will be a crowded position for the Huskers. Braylon has two seasons left of college football. We'll see if he transfers or stays.
