Tiger wrestler hopes for state championship match

Tools

Hastings Tiger wrestler Nolan Laux seems to be making a b-Line back to the Nebraska state championship match later this month.

Nolan, seen here at last season's state meet in which he finished third in his weight class, won his 36th consecutive match Saturday at the meet in Scottsbluff.

By going 36-0, Nolan set a school record for consecutive wins in a season for a Tiger wrestler.

With districts and the state meet ahead, Nolan hopes to extend that streak all the way to the state title.
