As we have expected, Tri–City Storm Forward and the USHL's leading scorer Jaden Schwartz has been taken in the first round of today's NHL Draft.

Jaden is chosen by the St. Louis Blues after he scored 33 goals with 50 assists for a total of 83 points this season. It happens on his 18th birthday. His mind, and that of his parents though are on his sister Mandi hoping for bone marrow to save her life back home.

Jaden's sister Mandi, who is a hockey player at Yale University, needs either a bone marrow transplant or a cord blood donor to help her live.
