While the Danger takes the field before what should be a great crowd, 50 miles west the Tri-City Storm hockey team takes the ice at the Viaero Events Center.

It'll be the Storm against the Green Bay Gamblers on Pack it in Purple Night at the Viaero Events Center.

After the game Storm jerseys will be auctioned off for the United Way of Buffalo County, as will some rally towels and even some hockey sticks.

"I mean, it's an outstanding event and glad to be a part of it and, you know, when our fans are loud wearing the purple it makes a lot more fun," said Coach Josh Hauge.

"It's a big night, it's really a lot of fun, it's cool to get the house packed with a lot of fans out here and its big for the organization and the city and I'm sure we'll get a lot of people out here and it'll be a fun night," said center Matt Bonner.

On the ice, the Storm is 19-22 with 20 games left and in 7th place in the USHL West.

Since only the first four teams in each division make the playoffs, the Storm is a long shot to make the post season.
