Storm player takes goaltender of the week award

The Tri-City Storm are on a roll recently winning five of six and looking to move themselves into a playoff position and today one of their player picked up some weekly hardware for his stellar play last weekend.

Goal keeper Adam Wilcox was named Co-Reebok USHL Goaltender of the week with Jon Gillies from the Indiana Ice.

Wilcox gave up just one and a half goals a game and had a save percentage of 957 in the storms two victories this weekend four three over Sioux City on Friday and three zip against Omaha on Saturday.

The 19 year old has ten victories on the season and three shutouts which ties him for the lead among USHL goaltenders.

The Storm are on the road this weekend taking on Green Bay on Friday and Cedar Rapids on Saturday.
