Tri-City Storm develops game strategy
In what seemed like a season long story of if the Tri-City Storm will make the playoffs finally came to an end last Saturday when an overtime loss to Sioux City gave the Storm the playoff clinching point.
The Tri-City Storm are firmly in the playoffs locked in to the sixth seed and with no way to move up or down Coach and General Manager Josh Hauge will use the final two games of the season a little differently. "We'll be dressing some of our affiliates and they'll have an opportunity to show what they have. We're going to give some guts the night off most likely everybody will play at least one. With the guys that are playing one they may not play the minutes they are used to, they might just play a power play shift or whatever it is but it's an opportunity for us to get better this weekend as well as give some young guys an opportunity," said Storm Coach Josh Hauge. The final two games of this season could be a jump start for the younger players getting time this weekend possibly pushing some of them into playing roles next season. |
