Darrell Revis is one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL leaving receivers in the league lost at times. And, Revis has adapted the Slogan Revis Island. While, Revis sits out the season, UNK has a new guy on the field. And, he's created Hobb's Island.
In UNK'S opener, a 24–17 overtime loss to Wayne State, junior Arthur Hobbs stared in his first game with the Lopers. The junior had 7 tackles and 2 pass break ups.
Hobb's biggest play of the game came when he intercepted Wayne State QB Cyle Schultz in the first quarter.
That interception led to the Lopers first touchdown of the game and a 7–0 lead.
In just one game, UNK knows they've got a talent on their hands.
Hobbs transferred to UNK from Grossmont College.
UNK goes for their first win of the season on Saturday on the road against UNO.
