Lopers celebrate win over Colorado Mines

Another game going on Saturday which meant a lot to a university in Nebraska, UNK defeated Colorado Mines to end the regular season at 10–1 and gain a berth in the division two playoffs.

And Sunday the bracket was released and the Lopers will get a much need and well deserved first round bye.

If you remember last year UNK was nine and one going into the game with the Ore Diggers looking for playoff berth as well, but the Lopers lost a heart breaker in overtime knocking them out of the playoffs so the win Saturday was a bit of revenge as well.

Coach Morris' team will take on the winner of St. Cloud State Wayne State of Michigan game November 26th at foster field.

If they should win that game UNK will get a second shot at the Thunderwolves of Colorado State Pueblo December 3rd.
