UNK Lopers 2011 schedule already set

We've talked about the Huskers leaving the Big 12 conference and starting Big 10 play later this year. The UNK Lopers leave the RMAC and join the MIAA in 2012. Their football schedule for this season is set and already has a MIAA flavor.

Northeastern State of the league will visit the Lopers September 10th at 1:00 as part of the 2011 slate.

UNK opens the season September 3rd at Wayne State.

The Lopers first MIAA game in 2012 has also been set.

They'll visit the Washburn Icobods in Topeka either August 31st or September 1st of next year.

This past season, the Lopers were 9-2 and denied a post season tournament bid when they lost an overtime heartbreaker to Colorado Mines on the last day of the season costing them the RMAC title.
