UNK Lopers reflect on Saturday loss

The Lopers fought the wind and a talented Colorado State Pueblo team and in both instances UNK came out on the wrong end of the decision.

UNK stayed in the game the whole time but were unable to put away the Thunderwolves after going ahead for the first time early in the fourth on a Steven Rush one yard TD run.

The reason why still baffles quarterback Jake Spitzlberger.

The loss could be devastating for the Lopers considering after finishing 9-2 last year UNK didn't make the playoffs. Either way the Lopers look to regroup and take care of what they can control.

Coach Morris' team heads to New Mexico Highlands to take on the Cowboys who are coming off three straight losses including 42-14 beating form Chadron State Saturday after starting the season 4-0.
