UNK officially joins MIAA

As of Sunday at midnight UNK became an official member of the MIAA.
The Lopers are now part of the 15 team Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association - a league which dates back to 1912.

UNK is one of four schools who made the switch to the MIAA the others Lindenwood University in St Charles Missouri, Central Oklahoma in Edmond and Northeastern State in Tahlequah Oklahoma.

The Antelopes' first game as a member of the MIAA will come August 30th when the football team travels to Topeka to take on the Ichabods of Washburn University.
