The changes continue for The Archway in Kearney...
This time it's a new president...
And he says he's only looking forward from here.
Nebraska businessman Philip Jossi was recently named President of the Archway's Foundation Board.
The top of his to do list?
Improving the signage on 1–80.
And the new president feels the second exit off the highway will continue to increase business.
The Archway is currently close for improvements.
Jossi says the door should open again on March first.
He's expecting big things from that day on.
"There's nothing wrong with what we have here. We need to spend some time figuring out how to market it," Jossi said.
The Archway recently got support in the form of 75 thousand dollars each from the City of Kearney and Buffalo County over the next three years.
Former chairman Joel Johnson will remain on the board...
Johnson decided it was time for the change.
After the announcement he praised Jossi's business expertise.
