We are just two weeks from the scarlet and cream taking the field at Memorial Stadium. How great does that sound? In the meantime, the Huskers push on with fall camp in anticipation for that August 31st matchup against the Wyoming Cowboys. And after two weeks, Bo Pelini is pleased with the progress his team is making. "I'm liking the direction of this football is heading in right now but we have a lot of work out ahead of us. We're not game ready yet but we shouldn't be but I'm seeing progress in a lot of areas." Some tidbits from practice Saturday: Sophomore defensive tackle Kevin Williams is out for the season with a knee injury. Tight End Jake Long remains day to day. Defensive End Randy Gregory was back in practice Saturday while Greg McMullen, another defensive end, is expected to be back in practice on Monday.
