They're back in the top 25 after a six week hiatus; Creighton once again has a little number before its name.
The Jays checking in at number 20 in the latest AP Poll thanks to a nine game winning streak, while jumping four spots in the coaches poll to number 19.
Also... Doug McDermott receiving Big East player of the week honors for the fifth time this season and the second time in as many weeks, averaging 27 points and 6 boards in wins over DePaul and Xavier.
Speaking of the W over the Musketeers last night, Doug... pouring in 35, even with a bum shoulder.
"Felt a lot better when I woke up this morning. I thought that was a good sign and I really didn't even really notice it in shoot around so I didn't really think about it. I thought I played well with it being a little sore. I'll ice it up here and it should be even better by Butler."
"If he could get it above his head he was going to play and he was going to try to be effective. I was proud of the fact that I didn't think he shyed away from contact. He continued to make those tight curls and didn't favor it whatsoever. When he is active he is really hard to guard and obviously if you watched the game they through a lot of different things at him in terms of switching, not switching and on a night where he didn't shoot the three point shot as well as he would like to I thought he was very efficient with what he did."
Creighton will look to make it ten straight and remain perfect in the Big East against Butler.
