Although the Nebraska Danger is playoff bound when they host the Colorado Ice a week from Saturday night, the Danger definitely wanted to close the regular season the right way with a win over the Tri-Cities Fever Saturday night.
Let's go to the Heartland Events Center where Coach Mike Davis hopes his team can win a fourth stragiht game.
Tri-Cities is on the move as quarterback Dante Warren fakes the pitch to his running back Keitheon Flemming, then throws the pass to that same player. It's good for a touchdown from 10 yards out and its 7-0.
The Danger come right back as IFL MVP candidate Jameel Sewell hits andre piper jordan with the short td pass and we're tied at 7.
The Fever bounce back as Warren pitches to his running back Jackie Chambers who hurdles the defense at the goal line for the short touchdown run and tri cities is back up 14-7.
Back come the Danger in the first, and again Jameel Sewell to APJ wide open for the score from 12 yards out, Andre gives the football to a fan, and it is tied at 14.
The fever right back early in the second quarter, warren scrambles and finds ed berry for the score, 21-14 Tri Cities.
Now, the play of the night, on the next play from scrimmage, Jameel drops back into his endzone and fires it deep.
Kayne Farquharson is out there behind the secondary and Kayne makes the catch at the other goal line for an electryifying 45 yard touchdown pass to once again tie the game at 21-21.
