As a golfer at Bradley University, former Doniphan–Trumbull Cardinal four time state champion Danielle Lemek is picking up right where she left off.
Danielle won four tournament during college season for the Braves and was chosen Missouri Valley Conference golfer of the year for her University in Peoria, Illinois.
Back home this summer in Nebraska, Danielle recently won the amateur women's match play championship..
There is no doubt her goal some day is to turn pro and join the LPGA tour..
It's been my dream ever since I was little but you know if it doesn't work out I'm fine with that but I'm going to try as hard as I can to make it but you know like I said you're playing a game for your life and the nice thing about this sport is even if I don't make it I can still be out here all the time enjoying myself and playing the game I love.
Danielle has two more college seasons left at Bradley and will head back to campus shortly. Don't be surprised to see her on a show like "The Big Break" on the golf channel in the near future.
One thing is for certain, it would not be a surprise if someday she is a pro and a very successful one.
