Let's go back out to day two of the three day Nebraska state high school rodeo at the Adams County Fairgrounds.

People are all smiles watching the action.

Here is the pole bending competition with Jayde Atkins of Broken Bow on an excellent run. Jayde makes it around the course in the day's best time of 20.68 seconds. We'll see this Broken Bow student in the final Saturday.

Now we'll look at Kelsey Wood who took a five second penalty during her run, otherwise, she's right among the leaders.

Kelsey's time ends up at 28.14 seconds.

Now it's Jordan Hagedom from Turlington, Wyoming. Jordan made sure she makes a good run with a time of 21.26 seconds, we'll see her Saturday in the final.

More rodeo action is underway as we speak and that short championship program starts at 1:00 Saturday.
