Dora Ellen (Veeder) Rinke, 56, of Grand Island died Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Schulte officiating. Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday prior the service at the funeral home.

Dora was born December 28, 1957 at Grand Island to Clyde and Thelma (Hahs) Veeder.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Rinke; children and their spouses, Andrea Rinke of Grand Island, Gary and Hellen Rinke of Aurora, and Lydia and Jonathan Broyles of Haven, KS; mother, Thelma Veeder Morris (Bob Morris) of Central City; brothers, Tim (Marsha) Veeder and Dean Veeder, both of Central City; and sister, Billie Pullins (Wilbur Stauss) of Boelus.

Those also left to cherish her memory include three grandchildren, Kyle, Cody and William Rinke.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Ruth Gray.

Dora attended middle school in Okinawa, Japan and graduated from Fountain High School in Colorado. 

She was united in marriage to Terry Rinke on April 22, 1978 in Grand Island. Following their marriage they made Grand Island their home. Dora was employed in the garden department of Ace Hardware. She loved flowers and loved her job. She was a member of Evangelical Free 

Dora’s other enjoyments included quilting and crocheting; which included covering hangers. She was an avid reader and wrote stories, for herself and for her children. Dora especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, loving mother and grandmother.
