The Hastings man arrested for what officers have described as one of the largest mushroom busts in the area was formally charged Thursday in Adams County Court.
29 year-old Nicholas Lipovsky was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of a firearm with a felony drug violation. All three charges are felonies.
Lipovsky was arrested last week when officers found psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, and cocaine in his home on North California Avenue.
Drug Trafficking Investigator Glenn Kemp told News 5 in his 30 years as an investigator, it was the largest mushroom growing operation he's seen.
Lipovsky will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on September 16th.
