Governor names new Nebraska Crime Commission director

An Arapahoe native and graduate of UNK has been named Executive Director of the Nebraska Crime Commission. The appointment of 57 year old Darrell Fisher was announced this morning by Governor Heineman. Fisher served 29 years with the Nebraska State Patrol before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2008, which is also when he was inducted into the Nebraska Law Enforcement Hall of Fame.

Fisher will start on January 2.
