A Grand Island man broke into a liquor store early this morning because he apparently just couldn't wait for it to open.

Grand Island Police say 45 year old Joey Frost smashed a rock through the front door of Smoker Friendly on 2nd St in Grand Island.

So, what was he so desperate to get his hands on? Two tall boys and a pint of rum.
Employees of the store say Frost comes in three to five times a day to pick up exactly that. The total cost is less than 15 dollars.

Frost was booked into Hall County Jail this morning after both police and employees were able to identify him from surveillance video.

He's charged with one count of burglary. a class 3 felony.

If the election was today, who would you vote for Grand Island mayor?
