It's a task that seems almost impossible. The Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity built an entire home in just 5 days.
The organization kicked off its Home Builder's Blitz on Monday.
We checked in with the crews on Wednesday as walls were being painted.
By Friday, the siding was on, the carpet was laid and the home even has electricity.
The Construction Manager says a house this size would normally take three months to build.
"The weather rearranged the schedule a little bit, but we were missing a door jam and we went and found it and that was the biggest hiccup we had." Said Amos Anson, Construction Manager for the project.
The organization is holding the home dedication at noon Saturday at Lincoln Elementary.
Then it's onto the next home. They break ground on the 78th home a week from Saturday.
