Whenever the Hastings Broncos head north to Sioux City, it's always a challenge especially when they face the Morningside Mustangs.

So far so good under new coach Bill Gavers, 2 league games and two victories, one over Northwestern and the other over Doane in this game two nights ago.

Hastings is 5–1 overall.

Brady Lollman's spectacular effort of 34 points led the way to an 88–75 victory.

The Broncos could really make their mark for the new coach with a win at Morningside tomorrow.

"TO BE A CHAMPIONSHIP LEVEL TEAM, YOU'VE GOT TO BE ABLE TO GO INTO THOSE ENVIRONMENTS AND HANDLE ADVERSITY WITH POISE AND GET THE JOB DONE. THAT'S THE CHALLENGE FOR US TOMORROW AND WE WILL HAVE MANY MORE CHALLENGES BUT RIGHT NOW THE HERE AND NOW IS WE HAVE TO BE READY TO GO TOMORROW" said Hastings Bronco Coach Bill Gavers.

"I DONT THINK I HAVE EVER WON UP THERE. THEY LIKE TO GET OUT AND RUN. THEY SHOOT THE BALL REALLY WELL. IF WE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE THINGS THAT WE THINK WE CAN, I THINK WE WILL HAVE A POSITIVE OUTCOME ON SATURDAY.", said senior Brady Lollman.

We'll know more about these Broncos very soon as the Crimson and Cream has 5 more league games between now and when they embark on a trip to Miami between Christmas and New Years to take on Florida Memorial College and host St. Thomas College.
