Bill Gavers Hastings Broncos will make a quick trip to Sunny Miami next week to play back to back games...

They'll take on St. Thomas University Saturday and Florida Memorial Sunday...

The Broncos put another win on the board yesterday 78–61 over the last place Mt. Marty Lancers.

It was a contest that was never in doubt as the Broncos are now 11–2 and 6–1 in the GPAC.

It's a great way for the team to bounce back from a loss last week and go into the Christmas break before jetting south for a quick trip to the Gold Coast of the Sunshine State.

This was a game as many games are what can we do to get better what do we need to improve what do we need to do to be the gold standard in the GPAC. We talk about being a Dordt, Dordt is the gold standard right now, they're at the top of the league, they're 6–0, 7–0. They just got done beating us at their place and so what is it that we have to do to be the gold standard, guys are committed to that.

These will be two winnable games for the Broncos in Florida.

St. Thomas lost to both GPAC teams Morningside and Midland last week in Miami 86–78 and 60–46. Florida Memorial is just 2–8 on the season.

The Broncos play St. Thomas 6:00 next Saturday and Florida Memorial at 1:00 Sunday.

Hastings is 6–1 in the GPAC tied with Midland both a game back of Dordt whose 7–0.

The GPAC schedule resumes January 4th.
