Coach Rhonda Revelle's Nebraska softball team, ranked 15th in the nation this week, hopes to make another run toward the College World Series in Oklahoma City.
Let's go out to Bowlin Stadium for the first of a Sunday afternoon doubleheader against Big 10 foe and 16th ranked Minnesota.
The Gophers take a 1–0 lead here in the fourth as Sydney Fabian bounces out to 2nd, runner scores from 3rd against Emily Lockman in the circle for the Huskers.
Then with the bases loaded, Tyler Walker shoots one to leftcenter, it hits the wall and clears the bases. Minnesota takes a 4–0 lead in the first of 2..
In the bottom of the 4th, with a runner on, Haley Decker is up there for the Big Red.
She pulls one down the leftfield line, and it stays fair just inside the foul pole and it's a 4–2 game.
Alicia Armstrong saved a run for the Huskers with a nice catch in the 5th, but Minnesota wins the first of two 13–4 before the Huskers bounce back to win the nightcap.
