Huskers win first league game, OSU loses 4th straight

 Back on January 4th, the Husker basketball team went into Value City Arena in Columbus and came away with an 84–53 loss on Ohio State's home court...

That's part of an 0–4 Big 10 start for Nebraska.

Could the Big Red turn the tables on the Scarlet and Gray tonight at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.

So let's go to the arena where before the game the fans heard from Husker running back Ameer Abdullah....

That is Husker running back Ameer Abdullah giving the crowd and team a pep talk before the game..

Let's go to the action..

Shavon Shields hits a three of his 18 points–Huskers led by as many as 14 in the first half.

Now Deverall Biggs on the steal, finishes, Deverll had 11, Huskers led by 9 at halftime.

Ohio State stormed back to take the lead as this slam dunk by Sam Thompson helped the Scarlett and Gray do that.

Down the stretch, Terran Petteway was tough again.

Here he drives, uses the glass and scores, Huskers retake the lead by one.

Then, Another Petteway drive, same play same result, Terran had 18 points as well, the Huskers shot 23 of 46 for 50 percent and were 20 of 26 from the line, Nebraska 68–62 over #17 Ohio State.
