A crushing loss on the road to Penn State is ancient history for the Huskers as they take the court this afternoon against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Gophers are without their leading scorer Andre Hollins, the Huskers without guard Deverill Biggs for personal reasons.

Andre Hollins of the Gophers didn't play out with an ankle injury, he is their leading scorer.
Early in the game Shavon Shields hits Walter Pitchford for the slam dunk, Huskers led 2–0.
Then its Pitchford from the outside for three, he was 3 for 3 from downtown and had 13 points on the night.
Elliot Eliason comes back with a dunk for the Gophers. The former Chadron Cardinal was held to five points for Richard Pitino's Gophers.
What a game for Terran, he ends up with 35, three of them here giving the Huskers a 35–30 lead at the break.
