 When the South Dakota State Jackrabbits hopped into Memorial Stadium for this afternoon's game, they knew they wouldn't be facing Husker 1st team quarterback Taylor Martinez...

Let's to the home of the Huskers to see who played QB.

Tommy Armstrong ready to start and do well.

Here in the first, Tommy finds Ameer Abdullah for this 28 yard reception and a first down inside the Jackrabbit 5.

Then Imani Cross gets the call on the option and he's in for the five yard run and Nebraska leads 7–0.

SDSU comes right back. Zach Zenner takes the handoff straight up the middle, 40 yards later it's a touchdown to tie it at 7. Zach had 201 yards on 21 carries.

2nd quarter, the Jackrabbits up 17–14, but Ameer Abdullah gives the Huskers the lead with a one yard run, 21–17, Ameer rushed for 139 yards on 15 carries.

Then with the score 28–17, Ron Kellogg hits Taylor Wallenwuber for a 23 yard touchdown pass, 35–17.

It was 38–17 at the half.

In the 3rd, freshman Terrell Newby makes a spectacular 10 yard run, keeping his feet crawling into the end zone, 45–17..

Then the Blackshirts add a defensive touchdown as defensive tackle Randy Gregory intercepts the pass and returns it 33 yards for a touchdown, 52–17.
