Business is picking up for local irrigation companies. They're busy repairing equipment after this summer's storms.
T&L Irrigation in Hastings is dealing with pivots that have been broken, bent, and turned over due to heavy rain and strong winds.
News 5 spoke with Ryan Weber from T&L Irrigation. He says in the last few weeks the companies have been overwhelmed with hundreds of repairs.
Weber says it's not only the large number of repairs that's slowing them down, but now with temperatures heating up customers are setting up their machines for the first time this year.
Weber reminds farmers that if their pivots were flipped over during a storm, it's a good idea to put in a whole new system rather than trying to repair it.
