Jeremiah Slough named Grand Island coach

Former Doniphan Cardinal and Hastings Bronco basketball star Jeremiah Slough has been named head boys basketball coach at Grand Island high school replacing Jeff Hofeldt,

Jeremiah, seen here in his playing days four years ago with the Broncos, coached this past season at Pleasanton high school

Before that he was an assistant at Doane and for his college coach Lance Creech at Hastings College.

Lance who is now head coach at Hastings high school called Miah a Natural Leader with a tremendous ability to organize and implement his vision.

Grand Island athletic director Joe Kutlas said Micah said Miah stood out among a pool of strong candidates. Good luck to Miah at GI.
