Turn the radio up and roll those windows down, it's the 27th annual Cruise Nite weekend in Kearney. From live music to catching a glimpse of some rare classic cars... thousands came out to participate.
The Central Nebraska Auto Club puts on the packed event. The popular Show and Shine took place on the Bricks downtown early this afternoon.
Then nearly 500 registered classic cars rolled down the road for a parade.
One spectator came from Aurora for the first time to see the old classics for himself.
"I think the biggest thing is the amount of people that are actually drawn out here and the many cars that have participated in the show and shine and the cruise night is the best way to put it. It's been impressive." Said Keith Scherff, spectator.
You still have time to catch some of the action. A drag racing contest will take place tomorrow at the Kearney Raceway Park from 7:30AM to 5 PM.
