The Team Jack Foundation formed on behalf of pediatric brain cancer patient Jack Hoffman of Atkinson is getting a big boost from the 2013 Kearney Nebraska Community Olympics.
Of course, we know Jack from this touchdown run during Nebraska's spring Red-White game which went viral on the Internet and which made the 7 year old a national celebrity of sorts.
Those Kearney Olympics which will be June 28 through the 30th, next weekend, will raise money for Team Jack for pediatric brain cancer research.
Former Husker and Cincinnati Bengal rookie Rex Burkhead befriended Jack and helped form the foundation run by Jack's father Andy Hoffman.
Soon Jack, who recently met President Obama in Washington and has a card of himself made by Upper Deck football, will have his final radiation treatment.
